The world-famous Belgian singer and song-writer Milow will play his acoustic concert “Less is More” in Sapņu Fabrika, Riga, on 29 November.

Milow (real name: Jonathan Vandenbroeck) is one of the Europe’s most successful self-made singers and songwriters. In the past three years, Millow has played more than 300 concerts in 20 different countries.

Milow is a gifted storyteller who combines folk with acoustic pop elements. His unique use of language makes his songs surprisingly impressive, his voice, fascinating stories and stage presence make him one of the world’s greatest performers. Milow’s songs – the acoustic cover of 50 Cent’s “Ayo Technology”, “You and Me” (In My Pocket), “Little in the Middle” and many other are heard daily and take top places in the most prestigious charts.

The Less is More Tour
When it’s time to tour, most artists think big. On his upcoming “Less Is More” tour, Milow is encouraging fans to think small. In this age of limited resources, Milow is taking the opportunity to reduce his ecological impact while on tour and hopes his fans will be inspired to join him in taking steps to reduce their own impact.

Following the biggest tour of his career in the fall of 2011, Milow now returns to basics for something completely different. To celebrate the release of his second live CD, "From North to South (Live)," Milow will perform unplugged in 7 countries in Europe with stripped-down show production featuring only two musicians on stage with him. Set lists will vary every night and will consist of hits, older album tracks that have rarely been performed in recent years and premieres of brand new songs.

About Milow
In 2008, Millow released the cover of 50 Cent's "Ayo Technology" that stayed on the charts for over 340 weeks in 14 different countries. The video also went on YouTube with over 50 million views. Milow followed the immense success of the single by quickly releasing a self-titled studio album. Three years later, he has sold over 650,000 albums and more than 1.15 million singles. The long-awaited new “North and South” album was released in April 2011. It was recorded in Belgium and partially mixed in Los Angeles by Tony Maserati (Beyonce Knowles, Jason Mraz, Robbie Robertson). The mastering was done in New York City by Dave Kutch (The Roots, Erykah Badu, Outkast).
